In my last essay, I introduced Main Squeeze. If you haven't read it, you should start there. It covers how we decided on compression socks, what the market looks like, who our customers are, and a brief intro to the branding.
Before Main Squeeze, there was Grass to Grace, an Etsy store for t-shirts.
Like its successor, G2G was an attempt to create a consumer business. We briefly workshopped the brand (elevated basics), signed up for an on-demand printing service (Printify), and hired someone to update the listings. Unfortunately we didn’t sell any t-shirts, and after a few months we shut down the store.
