I quit my job and it feels like the last few weeks of secondary school all over again. I'm really excited even though I know the sadness will come.
Career-wise, Moonlight is not “what I'm doing next”. It’s something I’ll always do, infrastructure for my passion projects.
I have some ideas on what to do next, but first I'm taking a sabbatical. No job, no side projects for six months. Just travel, reading, writing, cooking, gardening.
No side projects means no side projects. So I’m making some changes to this blog:
I'll no longer be posting on a schedule. Instead, I’ll post sporadically. To emphasize this, I’m hitting publish on a Friday morning.
I'll write more broadly about passion projects. Like my garden. Or interesting people and projects I think you should know.
No more paid posts. I realise that blogging is very personal for me. If I decide to make money from writing, I’ll find other ways to do it.
If you choose to pay for a subscription though, I don’t mind.
